With the G12 GPS Pet Collar, we can keep a better eye on our furry friend when we're out and about – whether on a walk, in the garden, traveling, or with particularly curious little escape artists. The smart tracker combines an adjustable collar with a compact tracking module and helps us track our pet's location via the app.

Thanks to Global Positioning System (GPS, satellite-based positioning), Assisted Global Positioning System (AGPS, assisted GPS positioning), BeiDou Satellite Navigation System (BDS, Chinese satellite navigation system), Wireless Local Area Network (WIFI/WLAN, local wireless network), and Location Based Service (LBS, location determination via mobile phone cells), the tracker can combine various positioning methods, according to the manufacturer. Some dogs stay close to us. Others suddenly discover an exciting scent, a bird, a deer, or an open garden gate – and then the pulse is racing. This is exactly where the G12 collar helps as an additional safety solution.

Via the app, we can track our pet's location and, if necessary, check which route our darling has taken. This is particularly practical for free-roaming animals, dogs prone to escaping, holiday trips, campsites, or walks in unfamiliar surroundings.

Electronic safety fence 📱

The tracker supports a so-called electronic fence function. Here, we define a safe movement area in the app. If our pet leaves this area, the app can send a warning message, according to the manufacturer.

This is particularly helpful for:

In addition to the current position, the tracker can also store or display historical movement data, according to the manufacturer. This allows us to track where our pet has been, how long it stayed in certain places, and what route it took.

This function is particularly useful if we want to better understand which paths our pet frequently uses – for example, in the residential area, around the property, or on recurring walking routes.

Robust, compact and suitable for everyday use 💦

The casing is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS, robust plastic) and Polycarbonate (PC, impact-resistant plastic). The specified IP67 protection class means that the module is protected against dust and can better withstand temporary immersion in water. For rain, wet grass, and normal outdoor use, this is a valuable everyday feature.

Nevertheless, we recommend not leaving the tracker permanently in water and drying it after heavy rain or water contact.
